Day 3: BONJUK and Lotte Super

we headed back pretty early on our third day as we were exhausted.
another good thing about Ashley's place was that it is located right opposite
Lotte Super (grocery shopping ftw!)
I've read about BonJuk online and we decided to give it a try. they have a branch inside Lotte City Hotel which houses Lotte Super.

we had the beef seaweed porridge and shrimp porridge.
we also had bibimbap - beef i think?
(no proof shot as we wolfed that one down a tad bit too early)
we also had sweet pumpkin porridge. it was super sweet but somehow tastes good when mixed with other types of porridge (subjected personal taste).
however, the pumpkin porridge alone is pretty filling as it is thick and sweet.

Lotte Super was fun - grocery shopping always is
i did not manage to take photos of Lotte Super so i'll borrow them (credits to travelbytez!)
snacks haul!
these are all huge must-buys!

Thoughts:

one thing about BonJuk is that they sort of expect you to order at least 4 sets if you're travelling in a group of 5. i read this online too. this varies according to the branches apparently.
certain Korean restaurants which we visited may also ask you to order according to the number of people you are travelling with - Koreans eat in huge portions (but they're still lean and fit somehow!) and some may want to order less to share, so take note of this!
