Day 2: Ewha University/ Edae

Day 2

> Ewha University (Edae)

if you have been doing research on where to shop in Seoul, Ewha Womans University will be in your list already. if its not, put that in right now. close to Ewha Womans University or better known as Edae (이대), its streets are bursting with clothing shops with loud KPOP music playing the latest hits in Seoul - FYI at that time it was EXO's 'love me right', no complaints at all.
shoes are lined up neatly outside its shops, snapbacks displayed on makeshift stalls, bags going off at prices starting from 10,000 krw (*coughs rm30 *coughs),  - Edae is a shopping heaven.

 proof shot!
and just in case you did not read me clearly, Ewha is a shopping heaven
- a shoe shopping heaven as well
 x
one of my favorite hauls are these pair of beauties and this backpack.
the same kind of backpack would probably cost double the price of how much it costed us in Seoul.
clothings are also aplenty here.
even dresses go off as low as 10,000 krw (rm 30).
not doing a shopping haul though. sorry!

Must have in Edae:
Bungeoppang icecream
Bungeoppang is a Korean street snack that is shaped like a carp.
Bungeoppang icecream?
- a traditional Korean snack with a refreshing twist
(i do sound like an advertisement don't i?)
but this is like goooooooooooood.

the stall where we had our Bungeoppang icecream
Directions: Take exit#2 at Ewha Station, walk straight,
turn left at Ewhayeodae 1-gil and go straight, you should be able to see this shop.

is it me or does the store owner reminds you of wolverine? its probably the hair...

 Gabriel digging in!
or do you prefer my version?
okay mum's version is probably the best.
and mummy advertising for the neighbouring bubble tea
1. we (and by that i meant i) wanted to try what bubble tea would taste like in Korea
2. green tea = refreshing enough to quench thirst
verdict: didn't know what i was expecting but it was bubble tea and it quenched thirst.

next stop: Hongik University a.k.a Hongdae
