#phoebecooks - creamy beef pasta for the ingredient-less

Hello! This is a simple recipe for creamy beef pasta for those who have minimal ingredients but a huge craving for - well beef pasta?
I got the original recipe from here but modified it due to my lack of ingredients.

the instagram version of ingredients used

Ingredients used:
Beef slices (i used 6 and cut them into halves)
Two cloves of garlic
One red onion
Basil leaves (i only had dried ones!)
Salt
Pepper
Soy sauce

Sauce:
Milk powder
Butter
*Lea & perrins Worcestershire sauce
(Okay many may not have this but it tastes so good with almost any kind of meat - buy it!)

I marinated the beef for like 15 mins with soy sauce and pepper and basil leaves. Heat the pan and stir fry the beef a little. I did not use any oil because the beef will sort of 'release' oil when you fry it?
Remove the beef and in goes your slices onions, garlic and some basil leaves together with a dash of pepper. I did not want it to be oily so i 'fried' it with a little bit of hot water. Fry till onion turns translucent.

Sauce
I know the recipe uses cream and butter but i have none. So i mixed about 4-5 tablespoons of milk powder (with hot water) and melted one and a half slices of butter. Add a dash of L&P sauce (about 6 teaspoons), some salt and pepper. Add the sauce in with your beef into the pan and let it simmer for awhile. Pasta is simple so just boil it with some oil and voila!
Beef pasta is served.

Preparation time: 20-30 mins
Serves 2 (or 1 if you're really hungry)

Bon Appetit!
