Life lessons from driving around with one bar of gas left.

Yes, I drove around the lovely streets of KL with just one bar of gas left
and was it an experience.
No, it was not intentional if you're wondering.
I just couldn't find any petrol stations.
but like all things, that 'lesson' had its pros and cons.

cons #1
your car could die in the middle of no where.
nuff said.
cons #2
you tend to lose focus when you're driving to look out for your gas level or petrol stations...

to summarize that, its dangerous, period.
and if you have to go through that to learnt what I have learnt, bless you.

pros #1
I learnt to appreciate what I had.
I used to have my petrol full each time I drive my car (all thanks to my wonder-parents)
and as much as I was grateful,
you can never be as grateful until you realize how important it was back then.

pros #2
I learnt to fully rely on God.
well, people say that if you're not desperate, most people wont even seek God.

now, I was talking about my car.
but what if this applies to our lives as well?
could your indicator light be blinking so brightly warning you that you're low on gas
but you haven't figured that out yet?
do you really need someone to tell you face up that your life is like walking on eggshells
 for you to wake up?
so, don't wait till your last drop (or breath) before you do the things you have to?
say the words you wanted to,
appreciate the people you need to,
sit down and laugh a little,
slow down and breathe a little.
do it, and do it right, before its too late.

 *smiles!
