i read this really beautiful passage on the internet the other day

and thought that I should share this?
this is so very true.

if you fill yourself with negativity, how do expect yourself to live a positive life?

I am also very blessed to have bunches of happy people in my life.

and I believe that to be happy,

we may not need to see what people think about us,

but how they feel definitely reflects our happiness level as well.

is there someone in your life lying around like toxic?

maybe it's time to flush that out from your system?

you are what you choose to become.

and as much as I believe in destinies and fates,

but I also believe that we are the choices we make.

in the end,

don't you think it'd be really nice if we could be the author of our own storybooks?

It's been a relatively long time since I've blogged.

well, CNY is just crazy (in a great way, of course)

anyways.
 

I decided to dedicate this post to a group of lovely people which do exist
even though some may try hard to hide them.

those who cry at tearjerkers,

those who smile at silly love stories,
those who look wide eyed at starry skies,
and never stop their trail of thoughts to wander and fantasize.
those who are called helpless romantics.

they are the bravest people I've ever met.
the ones who fall the hardest,
love the loudest,
believing that every breathe should be used to love,
the one who holds on to the idea of love at first sight.

but they are also the ones who hurt the most.
regardless of those sleepless nights,
smeared mascaras,
broken hearts,
and lost appetites.
they've managed to pull through,
stand strong,
and most importantly, love again.

hence, if you're a helpless romantic,
I salute you!
and I do hope you find the fairytale you've yearned to live
and may we all find the bravery you have in love.
